This is Cameron our Green Bottle Blue we got in 2016

Facts:

A native of the Paraguaná peninsula, Venezuela, it has some of the most dramatic coloring of any spider species. Adult greenbottles have metallic blue legs, a bluegreen carapace and a vibrant.

These tarantulas live in webbed burrows under bushes and tree roots in desert areas

Life Span: Males: (3 –  4 years) Females: (12 – 13) years

It can get up 4.5 inches as an adult

Food: In the wild they hunt by stalking; slowly creeping up and jumping on their prey, impaling them with their hollow fangs. Venom is pumped in and liquefies the prey’s insides. All spiders feed only on a liquid diet. Thus, digestion of food is partly external, with venom acting as the digestive juices. They eat insects, insect larvae, crickets, locusts, scorpions, lizards, worms, and mice or anything they can grab.
