Matt dislocated his left shoulder and fractured a little bone that helps hold things in place while trying to put a kayak on the roof rack of the car.<\/p>\r\n
This will be a 4-to-5-month recovery with PT. If that is not successful, then surgery will be needed.<\/p>\r\n
Matt doesn\u2019t like driving to and from work because of traffic.<\/p>\r\n
Matt has updated his resume and will start looking for a new job, hopefully WFH.<\/p>\r\n
Nothing new on hearing from Bret or Amber. Matt still misses them.<\/p>\r\n
Matt is still missing Sunshine Kitty Cat.<\/p>\r\n

Matt has moved back to Eden full time and it will be an adjustment with the new job being 42 miles away.<\/p>\r\n

The new job is still getting better but still has some issues but rolling with the punches as they say.<\/p>\r\n

Matt\u2019s boss told him to slow down because he is making the others look bad.<\/p>\r\n

Matt and Gail are no longer dating but remain friends.<\/p>\r\n
Matt has set his geocaching goals for 2026.<\/p>\r\n

Matt has been at his new job for almost 2 months and is getting a lot done.<\/p>\r\n

Matt is trying to refi his car to get a better rate.<\/p>\r\n
During the week Matt is still staying at Gail\u2019s house to make it easier to go to work.<\/p>\r\n
Gail broke up with Matt but still remain freinds.<\/p>\r\n

Matt has been helping Gail with house stuff and yard work since he wasn\u2019t working.<\/p>\r\n
After 5 interviews Matt got an offer for a job in St. Pete at Compulink-USA starting on the 8th<\/sup>.<\/p>\r\nMatt, Gail, and Deanna are heading out on a cruise to Alaska and Victoria BC on August 29th<\/sup>.<\/p>\r\nLots of geocaching events this month and adventures planned as the cool down begins for the winter here in Florida.<\/p>\r\n
August 1st<\/sup> 2025<\/p>\r\nMatt is sill searching for a new job. He had 3 interviews with one company in St. Pete and looks very hope full.<\/p>\r\n
Matt attended Midwest Geobash 2025 and had a really fun time and looks forward to next year.<\/p>\r\n
Matt, Gail, and Deanna will be heading to Alaska at the end of the month.<\/p>\r\n
Things are going as best they can with the current situation.<\/p>\r\n
Nothing in the realm of Bret and Amber and of course this is sad.<\/p>\r\n
July 1st<\/sup> 2025<\/p>\r\nKoch has done a major reorg and Matt lost his job after 18.5 years.<\/p>\r\n
The month of June went by fast lots going on with helping Gail move and other stuff going on.<\/p>\r\n
Midwest Geobash is at the end of the month and hopefully it will be a good one.<\/p>\r\n
Florida is still amazing and Matt will continue to live here.<\/p>\r\n
June 1st<\/sup> 2025<\/p>\r\nMatt and Gail just finished a geocaching trip to West Virgina for Geowoodstock that turned in to a Giga event. This is only the 2nd<\/sup> one in the U.S.<\/p>\r\nMatt and Gail also went to get West Virgina\u2019s oldest geocache (See FB, H\/N Pictures, and H\/N Video)<\/p>\r\n
Matt has paid for the Alaska cruise that he is also taking Deanna on his long time friend who he met through geocaching.<\/p>\r\n
Still more geo-trips planned, next up Midwest Geobash in Ohio.<\/p>\r\n
Matt is on the fence if he will be going to Nebraska now. Work has been a big pain for a long time and this might be an issue. This will be a call closer to the time of leaving date.<\/p>\r\n
Matt has launched the Honey Bagger Geocache Group. Should be a little thing when going out to get some caches.<\/p>\r\n
May 1st<\/sup> 2025<\/p>\r\nTrips, Trips, and more trips!!<\/p>\r\n
2025 is becoming an adventure with trips planned all over the place.<\/p>\r\n
Coming at the end of July is Geo-Woodstock in WV.<\/p>\r\n
Matt, Gail, and Deanna are going to Alaska in August.<\/p>\r\n
Matt and Gail will be back on the Effy Alaska Cruise right after they get back from the first cruise.<\/p>\r\n
Matt plans to go to Nebraska to visit friends Andrew and Danielle.<\/p>\r\n

Matt bought a new bike rack for his Trek and a Motorcycle\/Scooter hauler to haul his scooter.<\/p>\r\n
The Scooter has a flat now and needs to be fixed and might need to go to the shop.<\/p>\r\n
Gail and Matt are doing pretty good in their relationship, and it continues to grow.<\/p>\r\n
Matt is hoping to get to 66,000 caches in the next 2 months.<\/p>\r\n
The house in Romeoville was sold finally.<\/p>\r\n

Matt\u2019s Ford Escape is broke and he will be in search of a new vehicle.<\/p>\r\n
Matt has been fighting an infection in his leg and has been sick for over 5 days and Tracy helped take care of him. He\u2019s on the mend but it\u2019s taking some time.<\/p>\r\n
Deanna (Bearpack8 in the geocaching world) is coming to visit at the end of December. Tracy was able to find some cheap flights.<\/p>\r\n

Bought a car dolly and packed up the RV.<\/p>\r\n

Rumor is that Bret now works at Blistex in the warehouse.<\/p>\r\n

Matt is packing and purging stuff in the house for the move to Florida at the end of the month.<\/p>\r\n
Matt has not heard from the kids at all but he did see Bret and Jamie at the bank when he was there. Didn\u2019t say anything to them to avoid issues.<\/p>\r\n
Court is on the 8th<\/sup> hopefully with the response from the lawyer the judge will side with Matt.<\/p>\r\nAugust 1st<\/sup>, 2023<\/p>\r\nOne step forward, 2 steps back it seems to be happening.<\/p>\r\n
Matt\u2019s car was acting up, he took it to a local guy and the transmission went out.<\/p>\r\n
Court is now on 9-8-202 at 9:30am for a pretrial hearing.<\/p>\r\n
10 more months till child support is over.<\/p>\r\n
No word from Bret and Amber still and that\u2019s heartbreaking.<\/p>\r\n
Big News\u2026 Matt is moving to Florida the end of September if all goes well.<\/p>\r\n

Hopefully soon this will all be resolved, and I can get the house sold and get moving.<\/p>\r\n
Geocaching goals for 2022 were not all met but it\u2019s ok there was a lot going on.<\/p>\r\n
Geocaching goals for 2023 is to reach 3000 caches for the year, finish 1 state of all counties and turn the geo-calendar to a minimum of 26 from May \u2013 October.<\/p>\r\n

December 1st<\/sup> 2022<\/p>\r\nMatt is still in Illinois waiting for the issue with the house to be resolved but hasn\u2019t heard anything in over a week. He has been trying to get information, but it hasn\u2019t worked out. Next steps is calling a lawyer and getting some legal action started.<\/p>\r\n
He has been packing up the house and getting things ready as best he can.<\/p>\r\n
He has sold some things and tossed a lot that wasn\u2019t needed anymore and looking forward to hitting the road to Florida.<\/p>\r\n
He s also working on getting child support terminated for Bret since he is now out of high school and over 18.<\/p>\r\n
Speaking of the kids are ok. Bret is just chilling at home playing video games mostly and Amber has decided to get her GED. Matt hasn\u2019t heard from them in over a year and it makes him sad.<\/p>\r\n
Things on the geocaching side are ok Matt goes out when he can but his finds are very low this year due to other activities going on.<\/p>\r\n
November 1st<\/sup> 2022<\/p>\r\nIt\u2019s been 6 weeks since Matt brought home the RV. He has worked to get things fixed that are no working and the plan was to be out of Illinois by the end of October. Sadly, this didn\u2019t happen because of a issue out of his control. That issue is being addressed but not sure of an ETA at this point. Some of you already know but if you want more info reach out to matt via text, FB messenger or e-mail.<\/p>\r\n
It’s been 1 year since Matt has seen the kids and on November 5th<\/sup> was the last time he spoke to Amber. He as reached out many many times but there is no response at all. This has caused him some issues mentally and he does struggle with it.<\/p>\r\nAs far as work goes Matt has been super busy since they split the team up in product focus groups. He is always tired after work.<\/p>\r\n
Matt continues to go geocaching when he can but not as much as he used to.<\/p>\r\n
No update on Bret and Amber at all.<\/p>\r\n
October 1st<\/sup>, 2022<\/p>\r\nMatt is on the move with some big changes!!<\/p>\r\n
He bought an RV and will be living in that as he travels across the US and Canada!!<\/p>\r\n
His home base will be Florida once he gets the residency worked out.<\/p>\r\n
Still, a lot of work needs to get done before the big move.<\/p>\r\n
Matt\u2019s B-Day is on the 6th!!<\/p>\r\n
No news from Amber or Bret at all and next month it will be 1 year that they have had no communication with Matt.<\/p>\r\n
September 1st<\/sup> 2022,<\/p>\r\nWell, it looks like summer is pretty much over.<\/p>\r\n
Matt hasn\u2019t heard from the kids at all and it\u2019s been getting him pretty depressed.<\/p>\r\n
He has been trying to figure out what he wants to do about moving to Florida and is looking at some options.<\/p>\r\n
He also hit his 60,000th<\/sup> geocaching find!!<\/p>\r\nAmber got her braces off!!<\/p>\r\n
No word on what Bret is up to.<\/p>\r\n
August 1st<\/sup>, 2022<\/p>\r\nHello everyone!!<\/p>\r\n
Well just like that we are in August already and things have been busy.<\/p>\r\n
Matt has been doing a lot of activities with nudist stuff like bike rides and some resorts\/clubs<\/p>\r\n
He has also been flying the drone a lot and getting cool pics and videos.<\/p>\r\n
He is also dealing with some personal issues.<\/p>\r\n
As far as Bret and Amber there has been much except that they are doing ok.<\/p>\r\n
Amber dropped out of school.<\/p>\r\n
Not sure what Bret is doing these days.<\/p>\r\n
July 1st<\/sup> 2022<\/p>\r\nSpring\/Summer is flying by way to fast<\/p>\r\n

\u00a0He got a new drone free from his co-worker.<\/p>\r\n
He also did the Madison and Milwaukee World Naked Bike Ride<\/p>\r\n
He will be doing the St. Louis Naked bike ride at the end of July.<\/p>\r\n
He has been Geocaching on and off along with going to meet friends.<\/p>\r\n
The plan is in motion for him to move to Florida!!<\/p>\r\n
No news from Jamie, Bret, or Amber still.<\/p>\r\n
June 1st<\/sup> 2022<\/p>\r\nCongrats to Bret on graduating High School class of 2022!!<\/p>\r\n
Matt has been keeping busy with yard work, geocaching, drone flying, and nudist stuff.<\/p>\r\n
No word from Jamie, Bret, or Amber still.<\/p>\r\n
Matt got to meet some new friends over the holiday weekend in Iowa and enjoyed some vacation time.<\/p>\r\n
May 1st<\/sup> 2022,<\/p>\r\nThe weather around here in Chi-Town has been pretty bad.<\/p>\r\n
Matt has been trying to get outside as much as he can.<\/p>\r\n
Bret graduates\u2019 high school on the 19th<\/sup><\/p>\r\nAmber turns 16 on the 7th<\/sup><\/p>\r\nMatt has not heard from Bret, Amber, or Jamie in a long time.<\/p>\r\n
April 1st,<\/sup> 2022<\/p>\r\nFor the last few months, Matt has not been himself and struggles every day.<\/p>\r\n
There are no updates for Bret or Amber as they haven\u2019t communicated with Matt since October.<\/p>\r\n
Bret did have some ROTC competitions and you can see pictures of them under the March 2002 folder.<\/p>\r\n
Matt has continued to try and Geocache and has been more active with the nudist groups and meeting new people.<\/p>\r\n
News Flash: Matt shaved his head and all the hair is gone!!<\/p>\r\n
March 1st<\/sup>, 2022<\/p>\r\nMatt has let his hair and beard grow out it\u2019s very weird to say the least. Not sure how long he will keep it like that.<\/p>\r\n
Matt has not see or heard from the kids or Jamie still and it\u2019s really sad.<\/p>\r\n
Unfortunately, there is not a lot that can be done but he stopped paying child support for now even though he feels bad about it.<\/p>\r\n
Bret did get promoted in ROTC and there are pictures of that on the picture page.<\/p>\r\n
Still have no idea what\u2019s going on with Amber at all.<\/p>\r\n
On another note Matt has been dealing with some depression and has not been himself at all.<\/p>\r\n
February 1st<\/sup>, 2022<\/p>\r\nFirst month of the new year flew by quick.<\/p>\r\n
Holleynet Pictures, Video, and Music shares will be upgraded in the next month or so. This will help with better response time and over all look and feel.<\/p>\r\n

Matt is hanging in there but it\u2019s been up and down a lot the last 2 months really.<\/p>\r\n

The doctors still can’t find the root cause of her pain and Amber a long with the rest of us are frustrated.<\/p>\r\n
They want Amber to attend a 3 week class on pain managment and also get checked for endometriosis.<\/p>\r\n

Big news Amber is heading to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota on 11\/1\/2021<\/p>\r\n
Hopefully they will find some answers to her pain and get her on the road to recovery.<\/p>\r\n

October 1st<\/sup> 2021<\/p>\r\nSummer is over and we move into fall and the cooler weather.<\/p>\r\n
It\u2019s been a fun and tough month all around.<\/p>\r\n
Amber was admitted to the hospital because she fainted at home and Jamie could get any response from her. All tests came back negative but the doctor things it was new medication she was put on. She also tested positive for covid. She is doing better but still in a lot of pain.<\/p>\r\n
Bret is going to school and loving ROTC and doing well.<\/p>\r\n
Matt has been doing ok there have been some up and downs. He did take some vacation and went camping with his friend Kim. He got to see some water falls and did some geocaching too.<\/p>\r\n
Jamie and Matt got tested for covid and both are negative.<\/p>\r\n
Matt has a new friend her name is Emma Chick you can follow her on facebook.<\/p>\r\n
September 1st<\/sup> 2021<\/p>\r\nWell now August just flew by and only one month left of a summer.<\/p>\r\n
Matt is looking for condos in Wisconsin, Florida, and Illinois. He has been doing some geocaching but not as much as he focuses on other hobbies like World Naked Bike Ride and hanging out with friends.<\/p>\r\n
Amber and Bret returned to school. Bret is in person and Amber is at home.<\/p>\r\n
Amber is still having pain and the doctors do not know why.<\/p>\r\n
Bret is now driving to school so that is a big plus for him and Jamie.<\/p>\r\n
Jamie is still having issues with her jaw and waiting for insurance to figure out if they will pay for it.<\/p>\r\n
August 1st<\/sup>, 2021<\/p>\r\nJuly flew by pretty fast and school is about to start.<\/p>\r\n
Matt no longer has roommates as of July 31st. He has been staying busy with geocaching and going to more nudist events too. He has also been busy with work stuff and just got a \u201cpromotion\u201d you know how those go.<\/p>\r\n
Not much going on with Bret. He likes to sleep and play video games and stays in his room.<\/p>\r\n
Amber has a new friend and is enjoying that. She still is having issues with pain in her tummy. Not sure what is next to find a cure for that.<\/p>\r\n
July 1st<\/sup>, 2021<\/p>\r\nJune flew by pretty quick, didn\u2019t it?<\/p>\r\n
Matt has been keeping busy with geocaching, the zoo, and flying the drone.<\/p>\r\n
Lots of cool new pictures and video.<\/p>\r\n
Bret got his driver licenses but still hates driving.<\/p>\r\n
Amber is still dealing with medal issues but hoping to find answers soon.<\/p>\r\n
Matt\u2019s current room mate will be moving out at the end of July. This is both good and bad thing but its time to move on from this.<\/p>\r\n
Matt has a trip to Ohio planned with another cacher mid-July.<\/p>\r\n
June 1st<\/sup>, 2021<\/p>\r\nWow, can\u2019t believe that May is already over with.<\/p>\r\n
Bret and Amber are done with school on June 9th<\/sup> and plan to get a job this summer.<\/p>\r\nAmber is having some medical issues so please keep her in your prayers.<\/p>\r\n
Matt has been doing some geocaching here and there but has also taken time to visit some Nudist resorts. He also met someone at Naked Bowling and is currently getting to know her better and see where things may lead.<\/p>\r\n
April 1st, 2021<\/p>\r\n
Matt completed his Wisconsin Counties for Geocaching!! Next up Indiana.<\/p>\r\n
Amber has been having issues with her stomach the last couple of weeks but all tests as of right now are negative. Another ultrasound is scheduled for Wednesday the 5th<\/sup>.<\/p>\r\nAmber\u2019s B-Day is on May 7th<\/sup> and she will be 15.<\/p>\r\nBret and Amber are both doing good in school and they are loving JROTC.<\/p>\r\n
Another JROTC competition is on Saturday, May 1st<\/sup>.<\/p>\r\nAs of right now, Matt has not decided on getting a cat (if you knew he was looking at getting one)<\/p>\r\n
Matt is also looking at selling the house et to be decided.<\/p>\r\n
The roommate situation has not been good and it\u2019s causing some issues. Stay tuned\u2026.<\/p>\r\n
April 1st<\/sup>, 2021<\/p>\r\nExciting news, Romeoville JROTC took first place in all 4 events they entered at Michigan City Highschool on March 20th<\/sup>.<\/p>\r\nAmber and Bret were super happy and thrilled and it was the first time that has ever happened, and it was Amber\u2019s first time doing a JROTC event.<\/p>\r\n

Matt has been keeping busy with work and has also just got a drone to mess with too so he can get some really cool pictures.<\/p>\r\n
Things are so so right now because the roommate that lives with Matt isn\u2019t really keeping up with paying the rent and giving the run around about paying.<\/p>\r\n
It\u2019s also been tough trying to see the kids as well.<\/p>\r\n
The weather here has been up and down and that\u2019s pretty depressing in itself.<\/p>\r\n

No Giraffe visits at Brookfield zoo since they are not allowing any indoor visits yet and it\u2019s been to cold to let them outside all the time.<\/p>\r\n
March 1st, <\/sup>2021<\/p>\r\nIt has been a tough month here with the snow and cold weather.<\/p>\r\n
After 7 months of working at Amazon Matt decided to leave after not so nice run in with a manager.<\/p>\r\n
Bret and Amber are doing hybrid learning at RHS on Tuesday and Thursday. They are really happy to be back in school.<\/p>\r\n
Amber got a new cage for Sammy the snake that is much bigger for him and he seems to be loving it.<\/p>\r\n
Jamie is working and keeping up with the day-to-day of being a single mom.<\/p>\r\n
Bring on Spring and warmer weather.<\/p>\r\n
Side note Brookfield zoo is opening 3\/1\/21 in a limited capacity.<\/p>\r\n
February 1st, 2021<\/p>\r\n
The kids are returning back to school a couple of days a week for hybrid learning and they are excited. Amber hasn’t had any classes in the school since she started her freshman year in August.<\/p>\r\n
Matt is still working the Amazon job but now has roommates and looking to quit soon or take a leave that Amazon offers for up to 4 months.<\/p>\r\n
\u00a0Matt tries to see the kids when he is allowed to come over. He had dinner with AMber a couple of Fridays in a row.<\/p>\r\n
January 1st, 2021<\/p>\r\n

Bret, Amber, and Jamie are pretty much settled in the new house.<\/p>\r\n
Matt has gotten to visit about 3 times or so but it’s very hard to get to see the kids, dogs, and cats.<\/p>\r\n
Matt is working on getting a roommate to help pay for some expenses and that should allow him to quit the Amazon job.<\/p>\r\n
The holidays were ok Matt got to spend Christmas Eve with Bret and Amber at the new house.<\/p>\r\n
Matt went out with some friends on Christmas day and had a good time.<\/p>\r\n
Bret and Amber haven’t said much and Matt hasn’t gotten a lot of information from them. School is still the same all remote learning but they might go back sometime in January.<\/p>\r\n

Jamie, Bret, and Amber are moving this weekend to the new house in Romeoville.<\/p>\r\n
This year has been tough but we are all hoping 2021 will be better.<\/p>\r\n
Matt is still working at Amazon for a second job. He also geocaches when he can.<\/p>\r\n
Bret and Amber are still wanting to go back to in school teaching.<\/p>\r\n
Jamie has been working on getting things ready for the move and relaxing when she can.<\/p>\r\n
This was also the 1st Thanksgiving not being together.<\/p>\r\n
November 1st<\/sup>, 2020<\/p>\r\nThe cold weather has set in here with temps between 30 and 60 degrees<\/p>\r\n
Bret and Amber continue to do remote learning and the school will not open back up now till next year sometime.<\/p>\r\n
Matt is still working both jobs but is getting worn out.<\/p>\r\n
Jamie and the kids have not moved yet no ETA right now.<\/p>\r\n
They all continue to try and do what is best for Bret and Amber.<\/p>\r\n
Matt is thinking of selling the house now and moving to Florida.<\/p>\r\n

Amber has her ups and downs with school, but she is enjoying ROTC.<\/p>\r\n
Unfortunately, she took a turn for the worse and is back in the hospital getting help for depression and other things going on.<\/p>\r\n
September 1st, 2020<\/p>\r\n
Amber and Bret have started remote learning and they are not happy about it. They would rather be in school learning with teaches and classmates.<\/p>\r\n
Matt is still at Amazon and trying to not get run down.<\/p>\r\n
Jamie is getting ready to move with Bre and Amber.<\/p>\r\n
Divorce should be final on Sept. 17th.<\/p>\r\n

Amber is staying with Jamie’s sister right now but has been bouncing around between friends houses too.<\/p>\r\n
Bret has been chilling in his room playing video games or watching videos.<\/p>\r\n

Jamie has been working and watching a lot of movies.<\/p>\r\n
Court is August 31st for the divorce.<\/p>\r\n

June 1st,<\/sup> 2020<\/p>\r\nAmber came home to graduate 8th<\/sup> grade and spend some time with family and friends but has returned to Jill\u2019s house.<\/p>\r\nMatt has been keeping busy with some house projects and geocaching. He has also taken out the kayak a few times. Work has been busy over the last month as well.<\/p>\r\n
Bret has been chilling out playing video games but has gotten all his homework done and past 10th<\/sup> grade.<\/p>\r\nJamie has been busy with work and some home project stuff.<\/p>\r\n
May 1st<\/sup>, 2020<\/p>\r\nAmber has been at Jill\u2019s house for a few weeks now know telling when she will be home. Her birthday is on May 7th<\/sup> and we plan to go see her.<\/p>\r\nBret has been laying low since he can\u2019t see his friends. He has been playing on his video games with live chat. He is also reading as well.<\/p>\r\n
Jamie has been busy with work mainly and watching movies.<\/p>\r\n
Matt has been working a lot but gets out geocaching when he can.<\/p>\r\n
This lockdown has been tough on all of us but we are trying to get through it the best we can.<\/p>\r\n
April 1st<\/sup> 2020<\/p>\r\nNot a whole lot going on the shelter in place going on.<\/p>\r\n
Bret and Amber are doing remote school work.<\/p>\r\n
Matt is working from home nothing changed there.<\/p>\r\n
Jamie is going to the office 4 days and working from home 1 day.<\/p>\r\n
March 1st<\/sup> 2020<\/p>\r\nMatt Update:<\/p>\r\n
He has been trying to work on getting familiar with his current roll at KBS working with all the other companies. Training is an as you go thing so it can make it a bit difficult since everyone pretty much works from home.<\/p>\r\n
He has also been doing some geocaching and trying to get out of the house once a day.<\/p>\r\n
Amber Update:<\/p>\r\n
She is still struggling with issues at school and Matt and Jamie are trying to figure out what to do. Amber doesn\u2019t want to go back to that school and would rather go to a different school or do home bound school.<\/p>\r\n
Bret Update:<\/p>\r\n
Bret had an ROTC competition and he did pretty good but as a whole the team had some issues. He is really working hard to get promoted in April and Master Guns feels he is ready and can get it done.<\/p>\r\n
Jamie Update:<\/p>\r\n
Jamie has been fighting some medical issues as of late and trying to get those resolved. She has taken some time off the library job but continues to work at Blistex. She hasn\u2019t had time to work on projects either.<\/p>\r\n
February 1st<\/sup> 2020<\/p>\r\nMatt Update:<\/p>\r\n
He went on a nice geocaching trip to Florida and got 985 finds<\/p>\r\n
He will now be going to counseling sessions to help with issues he is having<\/p>\r\n
Work has been busy since he just merged with the rest of the KBS family of IT people.<\/p>\r\n
The battery in the escape died and it\u2019s a nice pain to put in a new one.<\/p>\r\n
Amber Update:<\/p>\r\n
She is doing a lot better these day and that is so awesome.<\/p>\r\n
She continues to sing and paint.<\/p>\r\n
She signed up for ROTC next year for freshman year too joining her brother.<\/p>\r\n
Bret Update:<\/p>\r\n
Bret is still not wanting to get his driver licenses. He has 6 hours left to complete and doesn\u2019t want to drive. Hopefully this summer.<\/p>\r\n
He is doing really good in ROTC getting ready for the big competition on February 22nd<\/sup>.<\/p>\r\nJamie Update:<\/p>\r\n
She is busy with work at both jobs<\/p>\r\n
She has been watching a lot of movies too<\/p>\r\n
She is working on watching all the Harry Potter movies with Amber.<\/p>\r\n

Bret and Amber had a couple weeks off from school and not sure they want to go back but what kid does right?<\/p>\r\n
Bret is looking to get back to R.O.T.C. but still doesn\u2019t want to drive. He has 6 hours to finish up and just has no ambition to do it.<\/p>\r\n
Amber is getting back to normal at school and she is trying to get her grades back up after missing a few weeks. She enjoyed her time off for Christmas break.<\/p>\r\n
Jamie continues to work at the library and enjoys it still. She finally got back to working on some projects.<\/p>\r\n
Matt is getting ready to start a new journey at work with a new boss and department. He is excited but also nervous. He continues to geocache and is heading to Florida mid-January.<\/p>\r\n

Just a few things to cover here:<\/p>\r\n
Amber is doing much better and the switch of the meds helped out a great deal. She is a lot happier these days.<\/p>\r\n
Bret is really going all out on ROTC and is loving it. He has tested two times to get promoted and while he didn\u2019t pass, he jumped over 20 point from the first test to the second tests only missing it by one question for the promotion. He got down on himself but Matt reminded him of how far he has come from the first day he started.<\/p>\r\n
Jamie is still working at the library and Blistex so this keeps her busy. She works on projects when she can but she gets tired pretty fast these days.<\/p>\r\n
Matt went to the doctor for a follow up on his diabetes and he dropped his A1C from 7.8 to 5.5 and now is I normal range. Doctor said he could cut back on the meds but Matt decided not to do it at this time and will follow up in 6 months.<\/p>\r\n
NOVEMBER 1st<\/sup> 2019<\/p>\r\nWell winter is here in the Chicago area a the temps dropped and we got our first snow fall on October 30th<\/sup>. We are already looking forward to spring.<\/p>\r\nJust a few updates here:<\/p>\r\n
